Considering the Ravens' struggles in attempting to stop the run the season, it seemed likely that the Falcons would open the game with a heavy dose of the run. But the Falcons just took a 7-0 lead early in the second quarter with a pass-happy offense led by Matt Ryan.

So far, the Falcons have thrown 17 passes and ran the ball eight times. Ryan is 13-for-17 for 125 yards and a touchdown. Roddy White has five catches for 41 yards.

The Ravens and Falcons exchanged punts for most of the first quarter, but early in the second, Ryan found running back Jason Snelling for a 28-yard touchdown. Snelling trucked Ravens safety Dawan Landry on his way to the end zone.

The Ravens haven't had much luck on offense outside of a couple of draw plays by Ray Rice and a pair of passes to Derrick Mason -- on comeback routes, of course.
