Even with the help of a polished roastmaster, Dolphins linebacker Karlos Dansby probably couldn't top teammate Channing Crowder's epically ridiculous post-game rant if he tried. But after the Ravens' 26-10 win over the Dolphins on Sunday, Dansby made a pretty foolish statement, too.
Asked if the Dolphins were shadowing Ravens running back Ray Rice, Dansby replied, "No, for what? Why would we shadow him? He didn't do anything."
Well, except for pile up 180 total yards on 29 touches (22 carries) -- an average of 6.2 yards a play.
"I hope they continue to forget about him," fullback Le'Ron McClain told reporters. "Ray Rice is dangerous with the ball in the open field. Everybody in the league got a taste of that today."
The Ravens are probably hoping that opposing defenses keep overlooking Rice going forward.
