Flacco to meet 2008 draftmate in Dolphins' Henne

When Joe Flacco and Chad Henne meet at M&T Bank Stadium this Sunday, it will represent a reunion of sorts for the quarterback duo.

Both Flacco and Henne were chosen in the 2008 NFL draft. The Ravens selected Flacco with the 18th overall pick, while the Miami Dolphins made Henne the fourth quarterback taken behind the Atlanta Falcons’ Matt Ryan (No. 3) and the Green Bay Packers’ Brian Brohm (No. 56) with the 57th overall choice.

On Wednesday, Flacco talked about his relationship with Henne.

"I was at the Senior Bowl with Chad, so I got to spend a little bit of time with him, probably more so than Matt," Flacco said. "I've seen Matt out and about like during the offseason and things like that. I wouldn't say I know him really well, but I know him a little bit."

Flacco, who has been starting for the Ravens since his rookie season, has passed for 3,600 more yards and 25 more touchdowns than Henne, who became a full-time starter last year. But Flacco said he doesn't really compare himself with his draftmates.

"Maybe a little bit, but you're not really worried about that stuff when the season is going on," he said. "It's kind of cool to look around the league and see guys that you came out with and see us all playing and doing pretty well. Other than that, I don't really pay too much attention to it."
