Cody receives more playing time

Defensive tackle Terrence Cody saw his most playing time this season on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, getting in for an estimated 12 plays.

He was one of only four active defensive linemen for the game. The Ravens placed three defensive tackles on the inactive list, including Brandon McKinney, who had made four straight starts for the team.

A run stuffer who plays primarily on first down, Cody was pass rushing more than playing the run, though. Quarterback Chad Henne completed 11 passes on first down. Cody had pressure on the middle on some of those passes.

"I was able to get in a rhythm on one or two drives, and I did some good things," Cody said.
