Carr lobbies for fine

Ravens cornerback Chris Carr missed a series during the team's 17-10 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he wants the league to know why.

Carr alleged that Buccaneers safety Corey Lynch blindsided him during a punt return when Carr wasn't near the developing play."I got hit when I wasn't looking on a punt return on defensive-stay when I was blocking," he said. "And I was just standing there and some guy came up and wanted to cleat me. So hopefully, he should get fined for that. That's unnecessary. If there should be a fine, he should get fined for that."

Carr said he got the wind knocked out of him and that his hip was sore, but he returned on the next defensive series.

"Yeah, I'm feeling a little better," he said. "I'm going to be sore for the next couple of days, but he caught me when I wasn't looking. It was extremely unnecessary. It's unfortunate that players want to play like that."
