The Capitals travel to New York on Tuesday night to take on the Rangers. They have won four straight games, which allowed them to reclaim the top spot in the Southeast Division.

Rookie goalie Michal Neuvirth, the NHL's Rookie of the Month in October, got yanked in the Capitals' wild win over the Bruins on Friday night. "He might be a little tired," Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau. "He's not used to playing under this kind of pressure." Fellow rookie Braden Holtby replaced Neuvirth in the nets on Friday, and won his first career start Sunday against the Flyers.

Fun fact: The Capitals rank in the top 10 in the league in scoring (2nd), goals against (8th), power play (10th) and penalty kill (8th).

Defenseman Mike Green has scored in four straight games, including the overtime game-winner Sunday, but he is trying to prove he's more than just an offensive player. I have my doubts about that.
