Week 7 power rankings

The Ravens surrendered the top spot when they went conservative in the fourth quarter and overtime at New England, turning over a hard-earned 10-point lead. They drop to fourth this week, while the Jets, Steelers and Patriots all move in front of them.

1. Jets (5-1) – Barely avoided the pre-bye week disaster in Denver.

2. Steelers (4-1) – James Harrison wants to hurt people? We'll see how that plays at league headquarters.

3. Patriots (4-1) – Stole one from the Ravens, but they're not out of the woods, yet.

4. Ravens (4-2) – Ray Rice gets 38 touches and Willis McGahee none?

5. Titans (4-2) – Playing mean -- some say dirty -- defense.

6. Eagles (4-2) – Kevin Kolb is holding onto the job for now.

7. Falcons (4-2) – Couldn't run on the Eagles.

8. Dolphins (3-2) – Tougher on the road than at home.

9. Colts (4-2) – Has the league caught up with Peyton Manning?

10. Saints (4-2) – Brought Bucs back to reality.
