*Are the Terps now ready -- really ready -- to play at Miami on Saturday? We know this much: Maryland is improving.
I would at least say this -- it's better for the Terps to play Miami now than it would have been to play the 'Canes earlier in the season. Danny O'Brien has thrown seven TD passes in the past two games, the offensive line is feeling better about itself and the running game appeared again in Saturday's rout of Wake Forest.
We'll check the status of Miami quarterback Jacory Harris, who was knocked out of his team's loss at Virginia.
Offensive coordinator James Franklin: 'They (the Miami Hurricanes) are a good team, They're very very talented. I think we are getting better each week. Whenever you do that, you've got a chance."
Other notes:
*Did you notice that Ralph Friedgen pulled D.J. Adams as soon as he fumbled? Adams was fortunate that Wake didn't recover.
*Terps have now blocked four punts, doubling last season's total.
And Maryland is plus-10 in turnovers. That's mostly skill, with probably a little bit of luck factored in as well.
