For the second time in three weeks, Brandon McKinney got the start at defensive end over Cory Redding.

But it's unclear whether McKinney's start was precipitated by injury as his start against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Oct. 3 was. At that time, Redding was nursing a concussion suffered against the Cleveland Browns. But he was not listed on the team's injury reports last week as dealing with another injury.

For his part, McKinney said he was pleased that the coaches had confidence in him to have him line up with the rest of the starters.

"It says a lot when they put you out there and trust in you," he said. "I just keep on preparing every week and doing what I can do."
