If Le'Ron McClain was disappointed over not getting into the end zone from the 2-yard line twice on Sunday, the Ravens fullback took it out on the Broncos with his punishing blocks.

"Le'Ron McClain was blowing people up today," Ravens running back Ray Rice said after the 31-17 win.

It was one of McClain's best games as a blocker, in fact. And he took pleasure in blocking on a Rice touchdown after one of his misses.

"I thought I got it over, but I didn't," McClain said. "I had to take two dudes on, try to get in there, but you know it's all good. Next play, pancaked [Broncos safety Brian] Dawkins, and Ray scored."

McClain said the running game returned on Sunday after a week of emphasis on picking up the tempo.

"It was mindset," he said. "We picked it up a little in practice this week with our tempo. We felt when we had bad drives [this year], we didn't have a tempo going, so we got the tempo back and at the end of the game, we showed that."
