Marylander almost sent home in 'America's Next Top Model'

Jane Randall, the 20-year-old Monkton native who is a contestant on this season of "America's Next Top Model," was nearly eliminated last night after the judges panned her effort in response to a wrestling-themed photo shoot.

Randall beat out contestant Lexie Tomchek to advance further in the competition.

Host Tyra Banks told Randall that the judges want her to show more of her personality in the future. She also called her pictures "so-so."

Judge Nigel Barker said that Randall looked "lost" and that her picture was a "disaster."

Meanwhile, contestant Ann set a Top Model record by winning the top photo of the week for the fourth straight time.

The first challenge of the episode involved the contestants walking in a fashion show with a treadmill-like runway. Most of the girls were tripped up, and some fell. Overall it was disastrous.

Kayce, this season's villain, was judged the best of the bunch, and received jewelry as her reward. She let out an immature and annoying shriek of delight after winning, which further angered her competitors.

Kayce and Lexie got into an argument later that resulted in Liz telling Kayce that no one in the house liked her. But, Kayce had the last laugh when Lexie was shown the door.
