After missing Wednesday's practice, Ravens tight end Todd Heap was back for Thursday's session. Heap, who absorbed a helmet-to-helmet collision from New England Patriots safety Brandon Meriweather this past Sunday, had been listed as suffering a neck injury.

However, free safety Tom Zbikowski was absent from the portion of practice open to the media. Zbikowski did not participate Wednesday due to a bruised heel.

Another development was the appearance of wide receiver Donte' Stallworth, who has not stepped onto a field since breaking a bone in his left foot in the team's third preseason game on Aug. 28. Although he has already been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, Stallworth looked fast and agile.

Wide receivers Derrick Mason (ankle/finger) and Marcus Smith (back), linebackers Jarret Johnson (back) and Edgar Jones (thigh), running back Ray Rice (ankle), safety Haruki Nakamura (back), cornerback Josh Wilson (hamstring) and defensive end Paul Kruger (sprained medial collateral ligament in left knee) were present and active.
