Bo Obama better watch his furry back¿

Bo Obama has had his run of the halls of power in the last year or so. But there's word that the First Dog might have a little competition — of the feline kind.

Rahm Emanuel's replacement as Obama's chief of staff, Pete Rouse, is reportedly a big cat guy. In fact, as Canada's National Post puts it, "First off, he loves cats. He really, really loves cats."

CNN puts it like this: Everyone from [Tom] Daschle to Senate Minority Whip Harry Reid (D-Nev.) suggests that the key to getting on Rouse's good side is to express interest in his cats – two loyal companions who never ask him about policy and politics at the end of a long day.

"He loves cats, and the way to suck up to Pete is to get him sort of a cat gift of some kind," Daschle said. Not a lot seems to be known (yet!) about the kitties that captured the heart of Rouse, who's single.

USA Today though reported that they could be Maine Coons and their names are Moose and Junior.
