"The League," a sitcom on FX that revolves around a fictional fantasy football league, returns for its second season Thursday night. Two weeks later, the show will get some local star power when Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs makes a cameo.
"We actually have Josh Cribbs and Terrell Suggs," show creator Jackie Marcus Schaffer told Zap2it. "It's been an amazing thing for [co-creator Jeff Schaffer] and I because we're such football fans."
Suggs, a noted movie buff and aspiring entertainment mogul, will be a guest star in the season's third episode on Sept. 30 alongside Cribbs, a receiver and returner for the Browns. The episode will air four days after the Ravens' home opener against the Browns at M&T Bank Stadium.
Suggs on cable TV? Now that's what's up.
