Ravens come out of Jets win with no major injuries

Maybe an important as coming out of the opening game with a 10-9 victory over the Jets is that the Ravens came out of it in good shape injury-wise.

Tight end Todd Heap, who had six catches for 72 yards, has a shoulder strain but it is not considered serious. He injured the shoulder making a diving 35-yard grab in the fourth quarter. Coach John Harbaugh said today that Heap is expected to practice Wednesday.

Cornerback Lardarius Webb, coming off knee surgery, was a game-time decision against the Jets and he was deactivated. Offensive tackle Jared Gaither (thoracic disk in back), defensive tackle Terrence Cody (arthroscopic knee surgery), wide receiver Donte' Stallworth (broken left foot) and Paul Kruger (left shoulder) were held out against the Jets because of injuries.

Harbaugh said it's possible Webb could play against the Bengals.

The Jets lost starting defensive tackle Kris Jenkins (Maryland) for the season when he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee Monday night. Jenkins suffered the same injury against the Buffalo Bills in the sixth game last season.
