Derrick Mason is happy to see fellow receiver Mark Clayton get a better opportunity with the St. Louis Rams, but he is sad to see Clayton leave.
Both joined the Ravens in 2005 and became the team's top two wide receivers for the next five years.
"He was not just a co-worker, he was a friend off the field," Mason said. "Whenever you build a bond with a guy, it's sad to see him go. Hopefully, he will become the No. 1 receiver down there. He and [Rams quarterback Sam] Bradford can make history down there in St. Louis somehow."
