J.Johnson not active again on Friday

In what could be an ominous sign as the Ravens prepare for Sunday's contest against the AFC North reigning division champion Cincinnati Bengals, Jarret Johnson did not participate in individual or positional drills during Friday's practice.

The outside linebacker stood on the sideline in a baseball cap and without a helmet as the rest of his teammates practiced. Johnson did not practice Thursday due to a back injury. Players who don't practice on Fridays generally don't play on Sundays.

Five players who had been limited Thursday – linebackers Ray Lewis (foot), Jameel McClain (knee) and Tavares Gooden (thigh), wide receiver Anquan Boldin (thigh), tight end Todd Heap (strained right shoulder) and rookie nose tackle Terrence Cody (torn meniscus in left knee) – appeared to participate without limitations.

Wide receiver Marcus Smith (knee), who has fully participated over the last two days, was also present and active.
