How our reporters and columnists saw tonight's Ravens-Rams exhibition game.
Jamison Hensley: This was the first time that the Ravens didn't show up under coach John Harbaugh. Dannell Ellerbe should not have played after taunting on the interception return. Prince Miller should have been immediately placed on the practice squad after flubbing a punt. Troy Smith didn't show much, but few quarterbacks would behind that offensive line. Geez.
Mike Preston: The end of the preseason couldn't come fast enough.
Edward Lee: Call it a meaningless game, but the lackluster play of the second- and third-string players is a little bit of a red flag for a team that relies on older starters.
Peter Schmuck: Troy Smith made some big plays, but was off target way too much in the first half to make a strong case for himself.
Kevin Van Valkenburg This game was about as fun to watch as a trip to the dentist is to experience. I did enjoy seeing John Harbaug nearly take a bite out of Dannell Ellerbe's facemask, however.
Ron Fritz: Just a brutal game. At least it was over quickly. There were more players on the field than fans in the stands. Think Roger Goodell was watching?
