Forgive the Terps for celebrating a little

Forgive Maryland for enjoying its 45-0 lead perhaps a little too much. The Terps were 2-10 last season so this -- a rout against Morgan State at halftime -- is a new experience for them.

It's hard really to analyze a game in which Maryland has 252 yards and Morgan State has 16.

Here's an interesting sidelight. Backup quarterback Danny O'Brien, in his first extended action, has thrown four passes -- and three of them went for touchdowns.

He's 3-for-4 for 73 yards and the three TDs. Those were some tidy, efficient little TD drives there.

Morgan State quarterback Donovan Dickerson, in his second career start, is 2-for-14 for nine yard and has been intercepted twice.

The Bears are adjusting to being quite literally out of their league.
