Is it possible to really, really, really dislike a show based on a 60-second promotional tease?
No, I guess that would be pre-judging, and I promised not to do that.
But you tell me what you think of Kathleen Parker and Eliot Spitzer trying to be clever, cute, playful and teasing in this promo for their new CNN prime-time show, which is apparently called "Parker Spitzer."
Okay, let me judge the two personas in this spot: I hate the false laughter, forced sense of banter, overall sense of artifice (even by the given standards of TV artifice).
I will stop there. Please tell me what you think. Maybe what I think of as phony, feels like chemistry to you.
Have you drawn a big red circle around Oct. 4 because you just can't wait to see more of these two and hear this kind of conversation?
