Washington is considered game-time decision

Ravens cornerback Fabian Washington has practiced with the first team all week, but he'll likely be a game-time decision for Thursday's preseason opener against Carolina.

The Ravens held Washington out of Saturday's practice at M&T Bank Stadium because of the artificial turf. Washington tore his ACL in November.

"He's ready to go. It's just a matter of whether we want him to go," coach John Harbaugh said. "I think we'll take him out in pregame and see how much work we get done and we'll decide. We're not going to push it."

Cary Williams would probably be the top candidate to replace Washington in the preseason opener. Travis Fisher is expected to start in place of Chris Carr, who has a hamstring injury.
