Ravens up 13-3 after an ugly first half

The score shows that the Ravens are up 13-3 at the half against the Washington Redskins, but there appears room for improvement on both sides of the ball.

The offense didn't really do much and the only touchdown was set up by a fake punt that Haruki Nakamura took 51 yards with some elusive running.

On defense, Donovan McNabb was 10-of-24 for 192 yards and one interception. Are you happy that he picked apart the secondary at times but could only manage three points? If you like the bend-but-don't-break approach to defense, you loved the first half.

Graham Gano, who was in training camp with the Ravens last year, made one field goal but badly missed wide right on a 47-yarder right before the half. He might be headed back to the UFL.

Billy Cundiff drilled two field goals for the Ravens and Shayne Graham converted his only kick, a PAT.

So, yes, the score shows the Ravens leading 13-3, but it might say more about how bad the Redskins are.
