Ravens trail Redskins 3-0 after first quarter

Ravens Pro Bowl running back Ray Rice showed some rust, putting the ball on the turf twice in the first quarter. Rice picked up the first fumble and gained three yards. Wide receiver Anquan Boldin fell on the second one after Rice had gained enough for a first down.

The Ravens' offense sputted on its second drive and quarterback Joe Flacco was just 1-of-3 on the drive and has completed just 2-of-5 passes in the first quarter for eight yards.
