Ravens offense has a lot of work to do

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco played well into the second quarter and all the offense could muster was 10 points and 101 total yards. The touchdown was a gift and came after a nifty fake punt by the Ravens.

Offensively, the Ravens did little. Flacco was taken out after going 9-of-16 for 72 yards.

If it wasn't for trickeration on fourth-and-six out of punt formation -- a direct snap to Haruki Nakamura that he took 51 yards to the Redskins' 1-yard line -- the Ravens would not have led 10-3 with 5:53 left.

Willis McGahee dove into the end zone for the Ravens' first touchdown of the night.

But why waste a fake punt in preseason?
