Undrafted cornerback Prince Miller is battling to make the Ravens' roster, but he took a two-day leave of absence over the weekend to travel down to Georgia for the birth of his first child.
"Prince had a momentous moment," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "We gave him a couple of days off so he could be there."
Miller returned to practice Tuesday morning, and Harbaugh noticed that Miller had "fresh legs," adding that the rookie out of Georgia should play a lot Thursday night against the Panthers.
"I think it helped him," Harbaugh said. "He had a little bounce in his step."
