Lardarius Webb still on the PUP list

Lardarius Webb came out for training camp Thursday morning in Westminster, but remained on the physically-unable-to-perform list.

The second-year cornerback, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee eight months ago, has been cautious in his recovery. There is still hope that he'll be activated by the Ravens' third preseason game, a matchup with the New York Giants on Aug. 28.

Webb made significant progress this past week, when the team increased his workouts to twice a day. He has looked strong and fast while cutting, leaping and sprinting. He has been cleared to practice.

Webb, a third-round pick in 2009, started four games before sustaining a season-ending knee injury on Dec. 20.

The Ravens have four players on PUP: Webb, safety Ed Reed (hip), linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo (quads) and running back Matt Lawrence (knee).
