Any questions about safety Haruki Nakamura fully recovering from a broken right fibula suffered last season were answered midway through the morning session practice today.
Ravens running back Ray Rice caught a swing pass in the left flat, which left him one on one with Nakamura. If Rice beat him, he had about 40 more yards and a touchdown.
But Nakamura tackled him cleanly. It was textbook. It might not sound like much, but few players can take Rice down one on one in the open field.
Nakamura has played well in training camp, and with starter Ed Reed out for an unspecified time beacuse of a hip injury, Nakamura will press both Tom Zbikowski and Ken Hamlin for playing time.
Ravens strong safety Dawan Landry has also played well in camp. He seemed hesitant last year after coming off neck surgery, but he has been flying around camp and sticking receivers and running backs after they catch the ball.
