Ravens offensive tackle Jared Gaither made an unexpected return to training camp Monday morning.
Gaither was scheduled to undergo blood work and other tests Monday after missing the past two days of practices. He was carted off the field Friday afternoon with what was originally diagnosed as back cramps. But the Ravens wondered if it was more serious after he didn't return to practice immediately.
The 6-foot-9 lineman still looks awfully thin (he's down to 311 pounds). He seems more suited for tight end than the offensive line these days. Gaither's working at left tackle, while Michael Oher is on the right side.
The Ravens' line got some more depth back with the return of Stefan Rodgers, who had been out with an ankle injury.
