One of the greatest joys of my job is covering a football team that has an entire roster of guys who play "like a Raven." What exactly does that mean? I pondered that great mystery a few months ago in this post. I'm still searching for clarity.
At training camp Monday, one of my peers asked Ravens defensive coordinator Greg Mattison what it means to play like a Raven.
"You go as hard as you can go, with great technique, and play as tough as you can be," Mattison explained, presumably with a straight face. "That's what a Raven does."
Add it to the list.
Now you tell me: What does it mean to play like a Raven?
