JetBlue's fly wherever-you-want, whenever-you-want pass is back with two options this time: $699 for the pass that allows unlimited travel any day of the week on any flight (AYCJ-7) or $499 for a pass that excludes travel on Fridays and Sundays (AYCJ-5). The pass is good for travel between Sept. 7 and Oct. 6 to any of JetBlue's more than 60 destinations, which now includes Baltimore.
Some caveats: Flights must be booked 3 days in advance or you'll pay a $50 booking fee. If you're a no-show for a flight, you will be charged $100 fee and your pass will be suspended. You have to join or be a member of TrueBlue, the airline's frequent flier program, to get the pass. members receive 4,200 points for AYCJ-7 and 3,000 points for AYCJ-5.
Deadline to purchase the passes is Aug. 20 or until supplies give out. That could be today. Last year, when the airline first offered the jet pass, the fare was $599 and the passes sold out very quickly. Who knows? Maybe Steven Slater will purchase a pass for his victory lap.
