Strange bedfellows oppose higher ethanol blends

After what looked like an initial lull, environmentalists, small-engine makers etc. are aggressively taking out ads and otherwise putting out the message that E15 blends haven't been tested nearly enough. It's everybody from the American Frozen Food Council to Friends of the Earth to the Engine Manufacturers Association to the National Council of Chain Restaurants to the Petroleum Marketers Association.
