Rex Ryan ready for 'Hard Knocks', Super Bowl

Predictably, Rex Ryan has sky-high expectations for his Jets in his second season in New York — er, New Jersey.

The Jets, which lost in the AFC title game a year ago, brought in a handful of big-name players, including Antonio Cromartie, LaDainian Tomlinson, Santonio Holmes and Jason Taylor. We can expect a lot of big talk from Rex and the gang when HBO's "Hard Knocks," which features the Jets this year, premieres August 11.

Heck, the cameras aren't even rolling yet and Rex is chirping, saying his Jets are the favorites in the AFC.

"The buzz is, this is the team to beat," Ryan told The Wall Street Journal. "I haven't seen that Taj Mahal in Dallas yet, but hopefully before this season is over we'll be there."

We'll see if the Jets can back up their boasts this season. But I know I can't wait to tune in for Camp Rex on "Hard Knocks." After watching the clip below, how could you not?
