Ravens tight end Todd Heap was placed on the active/non-football illness list on Thursday, when the team had its administrative day. This probably means Heap won't be suiting up for the first full-team practice Friday.
Reporters weren't allowed at McDaniel College on Thursday. A Ravens official simply said Heap has an illness.
Heap, 30, is entering his 10th season with the Ravens. He is the Ravens' all-time leader in receptions (427) and receiving TDs (36) and ranks second in career receiving yards (4,893).
