Colts center Jeff Saturday appeared on the NFL Network over the weekend to give his list of the top five defensive tackles in the league (based on his own battles against them). Saturday said the toughest tackle to wrassle with is Haloti Ngata — high praise for the big man considering Saturday is one of the "best in the biz" at his position, too.

Here's what Saturday had to say about Ngata, who was named to his first Pro Bowl in 2009:

"This is my man from Baltimore. I think Haloti could play free safety," Saturday said. "He's got that kind of athletic ability. And when he lines up, he'll play off the ball somewhat in a flex positon, and he will bring all 340 pounds to you. ... He's an absolute monster."

I'm sure the Ravens hope they'll never have to line up Ngata {photo by The Baltimore Sun} at free safety, but with Ed Reed questionable for the start of the regular season, I guess it's a possibility. Tom Zbikowski and the recently-signed Ken Hamlin are probably better options, though.
