Troy Smith lost his job as backup quarterback to Joe Flacco when the Ravens signed Marc Bulger last month. Now he could be headed to the Eagles.

According to Howard Eskin of radio station WIP in Philadelphia, the Eagles are considering acquiring Smith if they release troubled Michael Vick, as is expected.

Smith made noise last season about getting out of Baltimore and going to his hometown of Cleveland, but the Browns weren't interested.

Smith was scheduled to attend Tom Zbikowski's football camp in Palatine, Ill., today.
