As far as athletes' Twitter accounts are concerned, they can be a pretty hit-or-miss affair. Some have a lot to say, some have a little. Some are very guarded, some are candid. Some are boring. And some are flat-out hilarious.
Orioles center fielder Adam Jones has one of the more fun Twitter pages I've run across, offering a combination of baseball thoughts/analysis, Baltimore observations and random musings. He comes across very genuine, and you get a sense that reading his Tweets is just like what it would be like to sit down with him and shoot the breeze.
So if you've got some time and want to be entertained, as well as get Jones' insights on the Orioles, check out his feed here. (Note: Jones has to approve you as a follower, but seeing as he has almost 4,000 people following him, I wouldn't imagine he'd snub too many requests.)
Here's a look at some of his recent Tweets:
Just drove by the old Yankees stadium. So much history. Got my first big league hit there.
