Rumor: Talks about trading Ravens offensive tackle Jared Gaither to the Buffalo Bills have cooled “dramatically,” according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The sides are too far apart in agreeing to terms, he reported.

Opinion: Le’Ron McClain, who is campaigning for more carries, should be among the Ravens’ priorities for receiving a contract extension. The Ravens have had too much trouble trying to find a backup fullback over the past couple of years, much less a viable replacement for McClain. Plus, McClain has proven he can be a capable ball carrier if injuries hit the position.
