The Single-A Frederick Keys played extra baseball to beat the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, and the Single-A Delmarva Shorebirds wrapped up their road trip by winning against the Asheville Tourists.

Recap: Starting pitcher Troy Patton (2-3) only gave up one run and five hits in seven innings as the Tides edged Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, 2-1, at Harbor Park.
Patton struck out four batters and didn't walk anyone. He threw 64 of his 100 pitches for strikes.
Norfolk right fielder Corey Patterson was 2-for-3 with an RBI, and third baseman Justin Turner added a double and an RBI.

Baysox starting pitcher Chorye Spoone (1-3) was roughed up again, allowing four runs (three earned) and seven hits in four innings. The 24-year-old right-hander collected one strikeout, issued two walks and threw two wild pitches.
Second baseman Paco Figueroa, designated hitter Ryan Adams and shortstop Pedro Florimon each picked up an RBI for the Baysox.

Keys third baseman Billy Rowell and second baseman L.J. Hoes each collected three hits, while designated hitter Bobby Stevens contributed two RBIs.
In the eighth, Frederick center fielder Kyle Hudson stole all three bases, including home plate as part of a double steal with left fielder Xavier Avery taking second on the play.
