After sleeping on it, Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert confirmed this morning that he will bring Lookin At Lucky to Baltimore to run in the 135th Preakness on Saturday.
He said that unless there is an unexpected development, he will run the Kentucky Derby favorite at Pimlico. The 3-yar-old colt finished a disappointing sixth in Louisville, though, and Baffert is taking regular rider Garrett Gomez off the horse. Although Baffert said he hadn't decided who Gomez' replacement will be -- notice a trend here? -- the new jockey is almost certain to be Martin Garcia.
