Adam Jones will return to the lineup for tonight's series opener in Minnesota, where he'll bat leadoff and play center field.
Jones was a late scratch for Wednesday's series finale in New York with a right hip strain. He said he could have played and sat only for precautionary reasons, and expected to be in the lineup tonight.
Jones is doing drills on the field with first base and outfield coach John Shelby and running without an obvious limp.
