The too-cute stamps we've all been waiting for arrived Friday at the post office.
They're almost too sweet to stick on bills. Almost.
The stamps feature five cats and five dogs., photos taken by veteran stamp photographer Sally Andersen-Bruce. All of the animals were adopted from a shelter in New Milford, Conn.
The Postal Service is working with Ellen DeGeneres and Halo, Purely for Pets, a company she co-owns, to promote the campaign called Stamps to the Rescue.
It's hard to pick a favorite. The floppy terrier-type might be hard to top for sheer cuteness. That's Teddy, a Jack Russell Terrier who was born to a dog owned by woman who couldn't afford puppies and gave Teddy and his siblings to a shelter.
Or maybe the gray and white spotted kitty with the pink nose. That's Peaches, who was born under a porch ....
