Offensive tackle Jared Gaither will get an MRI on his foot Monday and will see a specialist this week, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said.
Gaither didn't practice for a second straight day because he received treatment in the training room. There was speculation that Gaither didn't practice because he was removed at left tackle on the first day of minicamp.
"He didn't tell me he that he was protesting," Harbaugh said. "We had a conversation about a lot of things like we always do. The reason he didn't practice, based on what he told me, was the foot. And I think there is an issue there."
Harbaugh said Gaither didn't finish the first practice on Friday. Oniel Cousins replaced Gaither as the starting right tackle.
"I think it just got kind of worn out and sore," Harbaugh said. "He didn't feel like he could go the rest of the time. That's what I know and that 's what he said and that's where it stands."
