The Ravens begin their first official offseason practice Friday, but quarterback Joe Flacco has already been building a familiarity with his new wide receivers.
For the past couple of months, Flacco said he's been working "a pretty good amount" with Anquan Boldin and Donte' Stallworth during informal quarterback schools.
"They look great," Flacco said last month while doing a promotional shoot for Reebok. "Donte' can run like I've never seen. Anquan catches the ball unbelievably well. When the ball is behind him, you can't even tell because he makes it look so good. I'm definitely excited."
The Ravens traded for Boldin and signed Stallworth this offseason, which significantly upgraded the team's wide receiver group.
Asked if he was surprised by those moves, Flacco said, "I don't know if I was surprised, but I knew I was happy that it happened."
