April in Baltimore was toasty

IN PRINT TODAY, MAY 8, 2010 - The April weather stats are in, and it was a warm one. The average high temperature at BWI was 69.7 degrees, tied with 1976 as the 6^th-warmest on record for April. The first week of April saw the warmest first-week average on record for the month. We broke or tied daily maximum records on the 5^th (84 degrees) and the 6^th (90 degrees). The 90-degree highs on the 6^th and 7^th tied for the second-earliest occurrence of 90-degree weather in a calendar year.
