AirTran, T-Mobile offer free in-flight phones and WiFi

If you're traveling with AirTran in May from Atlanta to Baltimore or Boston, you can "check out" the new HTC HD2 phone for free during your flight thanks to the airline's partnership with T-Mobile. Passengers can check out the phone at the airport terminal.

"The phones are setup with GoGo in-flight and offer passengers the chance to interact with the device and premiere a video about the phone and its features, view Paramount Studios movie trailers, and more," according to the press release.

T-Mobile is also providing free WiFi access for all AirTran flights May 10-May 23. So you save $12.95 whether you try out their phone or use your own, I guess. Remember to set up your GoGo account before you, uh, go-go.
