BIG APPLE VS. BIG BEN
"The music is better in New York at the moment," Stakee says. "In London, if one band sounded like the Libertines and became popular, then everyone started to sound like them. ... In New York, bands did what they felt like. They didn't follow anyone else. We got inspired by that. It's a new place for us."

VOCAL INSPIRATION
"Depeche Mode is a band I've been listening to on and off my whole life," Stakee says. "My brother got me into the band when I was really young. Dave Gahan is one of my favorite singers. He's got a lot of soul."
