Jacobs: "Kenny and I have gotten to the point with our writing where we don't try to pin it to a genre before we write. We just kind of write what we write, and it worked for this album. It's our most cohesive collection to date."

Liner: "People keep saying, 'Oh, you guys sound like Little Feat' or 'You're gonna be the next Little Feat.' ... But, I can't really think of a better band that I'd rather people say that about. It's not like people are saying, 'You're going to be the next ...'"
