RECORD EXTRAS
Hall: "Growing up, I think being into punk-rock music ... I think a lot of us would think that there's something to the notion that your record should [sound] like you do at the bar and at the shows. I think I've gotten to the point where I like when you hear a band live and they sound live, and then you take their record home and listen to it, and there's all this other stuff going on that they can't do live. I used to think it was a cop out. They shouldn't put that stuff on the record if they can't pull it off live, and I think the total opposite now."
COLLABORATIVE FLOCK
Melissa Jacobsen: "The stuff we're doing now is the first stuff that we've been writing together with Lee and Eric in the band. Since the summer, we've really started writing some new stuff as a group all together so all four of us pitching in. Which is a little bit different, I mean, the last record, I think it was more Mike would come with a song or Bobby would come with a song, and we would work on it a little bit, but this time, Mike will come with a song but all four of us together have been adding different things in."
Eric Jacobsen: "I don't think there's been one song that we haven't liked yet."
