Who will Anderson Silva fight next?

Most fans and MMA fight observers have expressed their displeasure with Anderson Silva's show boating at UFC 112. He could have fought Demian Maia 10 times this year and would have beaten him 10 times. He is still the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. Silva does things that show he's so far superior to any other fighter, that just knocking out Maia would have been boring. So, during the fight he would punch Maia in the thigh while standing toe-to-toe. No one can do that to a top contender but Anderson Silva.

Muhammad Ali did these things to fighters in his early years. He didn't follow the game plan that every other fighter followed. Just like Ali, Silva makes his opponents look foolish in the ring. He talks trash just like Ali did. On UFC.com Maia said, "He [Silva] was swearing to me in the middle of the fight."

As far as UFC President Dana White calling Silva out at the post-fight news conference about Silva's performance and saying on UFC.com that "I will make this up to the fans that brought this [stuff]."  I think he is working a mind game on Anderson Silva trying to get him to go down in weight and fight George St. Pierre. If Silva wants to get back in his good graces he would make the weight and fight GSP. There are no fighters in Silva's weight class that people would pay for him to fight.

Do you see my point or am I'm missing the mark?
