The National Venture Capital Association reported yesterday that the first quarter of this year was not a good period for venture capital fundraising.
Venture capital declined 31 percent in the 1Q '10 compared to 1Q '09, and there was a 44 percent decline in the number of participating funds, according to NVCA. Have we reached bottom yet?
